Am I also beautiful?

What a difference in the weather today - it has been grey all morning and then the soft rain started, just gently falling on the garden and turning our ground works on the lawn into a massive mud bath!

Murdoch was wondering when he was going to feature in my journal again, after the spotlight was taken by that beautiful puppy two days ago, he just wanted to check he was still considered handsome! He turned 11 years old last week and I get very sad thinking that one day he will no longer be with us - although Standard Schnauzers live on average between 13-16 years.

Tomorrow morning is a horribly early one to get the 7am flight to Zurich. As we did not get out to Switzerland as we usually do this summer, there are a few matters that need attention and some admin meetings required. We have our first meeting at 12.30pm so I hope the plane is not delayed as it is about a 2 hour drive up to the village. Instead of coming home tomorrow night we decided to stay for a couple of nights and try and get some walking done on Saturday, as we have not been for a long time and have really missed the mountains.
