A Special Flower

Delighted to return from holiday, to find this little cactus plant has flowered.

It sat on Mum and Dad's kitchen windowsill, and I brought it home when we cleared their house. I thought it had died, but I kept giving it a little water, making sure it was well drained, and in a sunny spot. Two years later, it has flowered, and there are six more buds.
