Another one for the aficionados

Off to Baleshare to walk the dog and this was at the side of the road. Not any old Golden Plover but an American Golden Plover - different species.
Much swearing as I couldn't get the newish camera to do what I wanted but eventually I got a few shots. 
Swearing seemed to be the order of the day as putting something one of my newly erected shelves in the utility room, the plasterboard anchors decided they had had enough and covered the floor with the contents of the aforementioned shelves. 
The mixture of broken jam jars full of jam and two litres of cooking oil was not a happy one - and neither was I.
