And after see extras, An interesting and thought provoking day. Deb lives in the house that I built around 50 years ago and in the70s feature walls were the thing to have. I was a carpenter at the time and we had to take some boarded ceilings down and refit them but only with full length boards. Some got split so I asked the boss if I could have them. Well I got them home and fitted them and finished about 11pm stood back and thought I don't really like it but it grew on me so stopped there. Deb is changing the room and wants them removed so I said I would take them down. The timber is B C pine or  Douglas Fir I think lovely wood. So it will get used yet again on some planters and a toy box for a friends grandchild. If you look at the extras you will see the numbers we put on the boards as we took them down. The chap who helped was a great workmate we got on so well and he died a few years ago.
