Turkey Feather
Wild turkeys are a common sight on Cape Cod. They travel in rafters (who knew there was a term for a flock of turkeys) and are not shy about approaching house doors to look at their reflections, slowly crossing busy roads and awkwardly flying onto rooftops. Coincidentally, there is an article in the Washington Post today about the problems they are creating in Boston.
I found this feather the last time I was on the Cape, and saved it for a future Tiny Tuesday blip. Their feathers are iridescent, and quite attractive, unlike their scary faces.
I look forward to seeing all of today's Tiny Tuesday shots! Please use the tag TT126. I hope to post the results on Friday with my blip.
