White asparagus are grown in these tunnels and this is asparagus season and the Bickley Valley grows THE BEST 'sparrow grass'.

This year the family who farm and harvest white, green and purple asparagus  have opened  their gorgeous B&B 100 year old cottage and its valley view verandah for three days of lunches and dinners asparagranza!!

Every dish featured white asparagus which began with asparagus gnocchi and ended with mille feuille, sorbet and asparagus cream.

A treat indeed!
