Bridges and Tunnels

A lovely afternoon walk through the Takurazuka tunnels. This route follows the abandoned JR Fukuchiyama Line. It is not an official hiking route but a few of the bridges have been significantly upgraded since the photos on this website were taken (and since the last time I walked this route.) The tunnels are still creepy, though, and the scenery is still magnificent. The river was particularly wild after yesterday's super typhoon.
