WoodFest

Continuing with my weekend festival theme, today I headed off to Peebles for the Forest Festival. Had a lovely walk along the river Tweed and soon the dulcet tones of chainsaws told me I was heading in the right direction. Lot of wood workers outside, and a lovely indoor wood market as well. Had a lovely chat with this spoon carver. Stopped off on the way home to check out the Polish Map of Scotland, the worlds largest terrain relief model. Was great to walk round it spotting all the places I’ve visited.
