Goats of Goat Fell

An early start rewarded us with a lovely sunrise, and it was off to tackle Goat Fell (a Corbett for those that are interested). A quick wander round Brodick castle as our start point then it was time to tackle the ascent. The weather was great so we were rewarded with stunning views. A vertigo inducing scramble over boulders at the summit and we made it! The most delicious cheese sandwiches were consumed in the sun on the way back down, tea and cake at the bottom and we were feeling pretty damn righteous! A scenic drive home via a few stops to prevent the legs seizing up. M got to tick off seeing deer at Lochcranza and a bath, a cider, a delicious dinner and the day was topped off with some star gazing on the decking with a hot chocolate.
