The Old Block

A stroll a bit further today - to gawp at the Brandenburg Gate, have a nose around the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe (curiously unmoving), and get a coffee at Potsdamer Platz.
From there we headed up to the Museum für Gegenwart - some great stuff and some other stuff too - plenty Beuys, haha. Though I did very much like Raimund Kummer. And in the middle of it, at last I secured a currywurst mit pommes with a beer.
Back to get into the finery and step out to the restaurant on the Reichstag roof - it was the only way for us to get up the dome as it had been fully booked when I finally got round to looking! An excellent meal, and afterwards indeed, we got a walk up inside the dome. Bargain!
