Under the Trees
A good chat with Dug and good news that the flower beds are back in the plan. It’ll probably save him a bit of effort too as it’s just planting a whole load of flooers, isn’t it? Then off to pick up the son and whisk him over to Stenhouse before dropping him off. I even parked up and washed the car under the old Shandon autumn trees.
Later, off for some Theatre again with P&K - Walking on Walls at the Traverse - I thought it dragged quite a bit - it was just a long soliloquy and wasn’t much more than a single idea dragged out. When the lights suddenly dimmed at the end, there was an embarrassed hush in the audience - like, is that the end?
So upstairs we did retire to chew the fat, and the cod and chips; posh cod and chips, I should be clear - saffron and mussel sauce, no batter, that sort of thing.
