A day in the shop

I had intended to spend an hour in the shop and then have coffee with friends as usual but things did not work out like that. A colleague went off sick and so I spent the day in the shop fitting batteries and straps and dismantling two clocks. Sally was good company though so the day passed quickly. It was back tonight to clean the clocks and then a fish dinner and a roaring fire followed by a film as a reward for a hard day's work!
