Porthcawl Lighthouse

My friend, Darren, messaged me early this morning asking if I wanted to accompany him to Porthcawl to get a photo of the waves crashing against the lighthouse as the forecast was windy. Well before 10am we were there but it wasn't the best I've seen it but we did get one large wave that covered the lighthouse that were few and far between!

Three quarters of an hour later we headed to Kenfig Nature Reserve where a walk around the lake saw some geese taking off and I was lucky enough to catch them (see blip extra).

This evening was a 45 minute drive through the rush hour traffic to visit my mother in hospital where she was recovering from an operation yesterday on her shoulder that she'd broken about a month ago! She's doing fine.
