Poppy for Flower Friday

This morning I had a lesson with Aliscotia taking photos with the camera set on manual, as well as on shutter speed priority (rather than on aperture which is my comfort zone) and took some photos in her studio of this beautiful wild poppy.  Thanks Ali for a great session!

We also ventured out for a walk along the river which looked lovely in the sunshine, as did this duck which was posing so nicely for me - see extra.
