For Beck; she said my photo looked like a Victorian book plate, which is good enough for me, and I bought the plant itself for her at the weekend. We both had a day off today, so we spent it together, dodging the plasterers, not buying furniture (but looking) and enjoying a cheeky midweek lunch at Le Bistrot Pierre.
