Swing

A daddy day of avoiding the rain today. After walking through Gunwharf Boy and I did go to the historic dockyard, but he was insistent that we returned to Gunwharf straight away as he wanted to go on the escalator, so we did.

After a few goes up and then steps down we had a wander. Boy saw a toy skateboarder in a shop which he really wanted. After looking at the price, he did not like my negative response to his request that we buy it. He showed this at quite a volume as we walked around the shops. I tried to reason with him but failed, and as he is not one to give up quick this went on for some time. Right up until we went in the Vans shop to look at skateboarder accessories. Trying on a few helmets seemed to reduce his unrest and it completely went when the shop assistant gave him some stickers.

We then set off to get his sister from school, then went to the park and then went home to put the new stickers on the teddy bear skateboard.
