Isle of Skye

We decided that we really like/prefer the (west) coast, and there is something special about being on an island, even if you can reach it by a bridge. It was good to be back and we will return.

And our cake mission...? Well, we did not find a cosy cafe, but a wee gem instead. If you are ever in this area, Manuela's Wee Bakery is worth a visit. Bought lovely German bread, cookies for friends to bring back to and some yummy macaroons to have with my coffee in the car. They also serve pizza in their pizza hut (extra 1) and I love their "wee room" (extra 2).
