Back where I started

Ann Hathaway's Cottage, just around the corner to where I went to school from age 11 to18.
We left Devon pretty early and were in Stratford just gone 9a.m.
We thought we'd have a coffee at Ann Hathaway's Cottage but the cafe didn't open until 10 so we had a quick mooch around the house as it was pouring with rain. The scaffolding is up because they are about to undertake some repairs to the brickwork on one of the chimneys. Well it is nearly 500 years old!
An early lunch at Boston Tea Party, which is in the actual room where I first went to school aged 4. We sat in the same place that I used to sit!
C had to be at the hospital for 1 pm. Several hours of waiting while local anaesthetic drops were administered regularly, then he had his op. The consultant was not happy that we were going to drive back to Devon afterwards, so we are staying the night with Technophobe and LooseCanon who kindly offered us food and a comfy bed.
We're taking it easy now, which is probably a good idea, and will drive back down south tomorrow.
