Welcome to Whitby....

Despite the wind.... a beautiful day for a seaside walk.  So Robin Hood's Bay to Whitby along the Cleveland Way it was.  Longer, and more uppity and downy than anticipated...but my it was beautiful....and hardly a sole around.  I confess to being glad to see the bones of Whitby Abbey and oh so pretty, bustling harbour below. 

Loved the light at the harbour mouth and met a photographer there who was relishing the light also.  I didn't notice at the time but you can just about see him looking under a bench..... I bet he's lost his lens cap!
