Bedside Manners
Today just disappeared.
Pharmacy. Post Office. Bookshop. Coffeeshop. GP surgery. Supermarket.
I did some work too, plus two loads of laundry.
I got quite a few tasks crossed off the list.
The visit to my doctor was a highlight. Strange, but true. When I made the appointment they asked if I'd be OK about their trainee GP being involved. It was, of course.
In fact he saw me first and then had to report his findings to his boss for diagnosis. It was a weird role reversal with me trying to make the young lad relax and feel comfortable, as opposed to the normal.
He volunteered that it's unusual for a man my age to be taking only 3 medications. That made my day. He'll go a long way. Right stuff, etc.
As an aside, I phoned at 8.30 this morning for an appointment and got one for 4.45pm. I didn't even have to raise my voice.
The Blip is just dinner. Scrambled eggs, Indian style. Red onion, red chilli, black pepper and tomatoes all fried, and then the eggs added. Toasted & ground cumin seeds and chopped coriander thrown in at the end.
