Last Light

More strange lighting as the last light of the day finds a gap in the clouds and spotlights the Hopetoun Monument, twelve miles away in East Lothian. One of two as it turns out - the other very similar monument in Fife is actually to the same guy, General John Hope, fourth Earl of Hopetoun who fought in the Peninsular War, taking over control of the British forces at Corunna after the death of Sir John Moore and overseeing the Dunkirk-like evacuation.
