TUESDAY
......and it was still blowing although not as windy as it has been in Ireland.
Played golf this morning and was fortunate to have Ninniex in the group. She played well and finished at the pointy end of the Results sheet. Well done to her. I suggested at one stage that she should concentrate on her golf instead of talking about her new 'toy'.
The blip today is of a bee (we love seeing them) which was one of a swarm on the flower of a Xanthorrhoea next to the 3rd tee box at our golf club. It is a stunning specimen when in flower. Commonly called grass tree, kangaroo tail and another name which is now politically incorrect. The example at the golf club is about 12' tall (from base to tip of flower) and looks beautiful. The first extra is of the flower heads covered in bees, the second extra, a full view of the plant and the third extra, a little friend came to see what I was doing lying on the ground - he was anticipating a feed of some sort.
Thank you to wrperry for hosting TT125.
Thank you also to the lovely comments and stars for my blip yesterday.
