Waiting for Dad-ot

Today, being Wednesday, necessitates another pic of my lad on the way to daycare. Today, it being school holidays, we were accompanied by Miss 6. Here they are seen waiting - surprisingly patiently for me, as I darted across the road in search of a wee bird I had heard. I didn't see it.

Today does also necessitate a link to a bunch of other photos though, as today did turn out to be a good birding day. I saw a wattlebird on the way home, then another in a tree at home. I saw a female fairy-wren and a pair of Eastern Spinebills. There was a little striated thornbill, and finally the male variegated fair-wren. 8)

So do go here and have a look. I'm rather pleased.
