My little book of Arabic

Back in Cairo I decided I needed to record the little snippets of Arabic I learned from friends and students. I'd mentioned this to my class of teens so they were keen to see it, especially one of the more chatty girls. Teacher, she boldly says. Always enquiring and clarifying. No problem she says and organised everyone. A forthright young lady.

I've enjoyed my time with them, and we have a good rapport. She gave me the word for friend which I've always wanted, and today they taught me 'party' as they want to have one in our final class next week.
