My Volunteer Experience

Over the weekend I had gotten the opportunity to volunteer at a Sikh Temple, where I had emerged myself into a whole new culture. Before volunteering I had gotten the opportunity to try the foods thats associated with their culture. The building was very large and extravagant, filled with many people seeing as how it was a special holiday for them.

After getting settled into the environment, I had started my volunteer experience. There were many people in the temple, all of whom had to be fed. There were many cooks and servers so I had gotten the duty to dry and organize all the plates, cups and spoons for the visitors. Alrhough the job wasnt anything special, the experience was new and valuable.
