Into the Arctic Circle

It was rough again last night and for quite a lot of the morning. We are well into the Arctic Circle now and sailing around the Lofoten Islands, heading for Alta.

The light is stunning.
The rain has paused, but we have had occasional rainbows.
Blue skies, white clouds, rain clouds, such natural variety.

We’re hoping there will be solar activity and clear skies but even if we aren’t treated to an Aurora display, the afternoon on deck has been pure magic.
