Play misty for me

When I got up this morning I thought the funfair people had done a moonlight flit - I couldn't see the 'big wheel' from my kitchen window. Mind you, I couldn't see very much at all due to the mist.

This shot was taken as I was going to work. I like the halo effect that the lights have, and the contrast between colour of the rubbish bins, and greyness of the mist in the distance. This was the only person I saw apart from the bus driver for about 15 minutes. In the distance there is a long straight road which leads into the salubrious area of dockland Leith.

I think the sun broke through late morning, but I had no time to look out of the windows. I think I'm going to change my name, so that I get less interruptions
