Ontignano

We slept late after waking early. I tweeted an 140 character poem.

Orion bestrides the morning sky
Dawn breaks and waking buzzards sigh
No wind again and they must flapping fly
Becalmed by this Azorean high

Yes. Not brilliant but Orion was shockingly clear in the pre-dawn sky before the fog built up. Then after 10.30 an incandescent autumnal day.

We walked out at Ontignano with a flask of coffee and came home to do some work, washing, cooking etc.

Strange to watch the fierce storm riding up the east coast of Spain and France to crash over Ireland and Scotland and it be so still here. Just the nuthatch calling.
