Dunkirk

After six and a half years living with Dover castle on the doorstep the lads persuaded me to visit. The guided tour of the chalk tunnels from where the Dunkirk evacuation was organised was fascinating and moving and worth the steep entry price alone.

This is the view over over Dover port  from one of the balconies that look out of the cliff.

We have later gave The Coastguard down in the bay a second visit.
