The morning after

We met up again this morning for a quick trip in to town for brunch. No one too much the worse for wear and we all agreed on a Yorkie! These are the latest wonder of York, Yorkshire pudding wraps filled with a roast beef dinner. There have been queues all round the building for them, but we arrived early and there was no queue at all.
We munched them down gratefully, definitely hair of the dog food although we agreed we probably wouldn't have them again as they are quite heavy. But good to try.
Then homeward bound with Rachel who lives in Lancaster needing a lift. I dropped her off in good time and returned to the M6 to run into a closure due to a bad accident and it took me over an hour to get clear of it.
I did wonder, if I hadn't kindly taken her to her home, would I have got through without delay? Or could something far worse have happened? Best not to think!
All in all a great weekend and an excellent preliminary to the wedding.
