Orange Is My Favorite Color

An interesting thing for me in this photo is that it is not sunrise or sunset, but about 4:45 in the afternoon.  The band of light was there at 4 PM and continued like this for the rest of the time we were walking on the beach.  The extra reminds me the beach might be being invaded by a mechanical monster, but I can tell it is a machine that is pumping sand from the bottom of the ocean to re-nourish the sand on the beach.
