Apple Day

Today was Apple Day and there were various things going on in Oswestry Market such as live music, an apple press and various stalls. This is the stall of the community orchard in the town which is on land alongside the Cambrian Heritage Railway. I bought some of their apples, it's always good to get different varieties to the ones in the shops and to support the orchard project.

Tonight I played at a ceilidh near Ellesmere with a band that I have been in for all of it's 26 years. We don't play many gigs these days but it's always good to get together again although a bit challenging to remember all the old tunes!
