Passport

One of the pluses of being an arch-procrastinator is that you can leave all your worrying until the last minute. And one of the acute minuses is finding yourself in a last minute.

So it was this evening as I prepared for a day trip to Dublin tomorrow, printing boarding passes, getting my clothes ready, finding my passport, and then having a cold sweat about the fact that I wasn't sure what had prompted me to remember my passport and what would happen if that didn't happen next time I was travelling?

The other thing I had to content with was the prospect of getting up early and the mild stress that I might not be able to fall asleep, which ironically, is probably the primary contributor to early start insomnia.

Still, all that aside, I had a lovely evening with Dan and Abi, finishing off with an episode of Doctor Who. Dan and I are in arrears on this - we're halfway through season eight - but we have decided that Peter Capaldi is good Doctor.
