Little mission

I hadn't been planning to run this morning but I felt so good after running yesterday that I went out and did the same route again today before going to join the rest of the gang for breakfast.

As usual, everyone was planning a quick getaway after breakfast but when we were on the boat trip yesterday our skipper-come-guide had mentioned the (fake) grave of Ebeneezer Scrooge in the graveyard at St Chad's Church, and E mentioned that he was going to find it before heading home.

Well, I couldn't resist that, so I asked him if he would mind some company and, as he was polite enough to say that he wouldn't, we set off on our little mission. It was a lovely way to finish the weekend, strolling along, enjoying some gentle conversation, and then a quick search for the mock grave, which E found.

While we were waiting for the boat, yesterday, E found a stone inscription on the Welsh Bridge that read "Commit no nuisance". I think that would make a good motto.
