Seaton Sluice (and the Dark Side of the Moon)
Home from work earlier than usual for a follow-up appointment with the Physio. The 'tight' muscles around my hip have loosened up considerably in the last fortnight and should be back to normal soon, as long as I keep on with the exercises...
Big concerts are a bit like buses - none for ages, then two come along at once! Tonight it was The Musical Box performing The Black Show, a re-creation of Genesis' 1974 show - Selling England by the Pound. It featured classics from Genesis' early albums, and was absolutely brilliant!
MrM drove us down to the Sage in Gateshead, for the concert, via the coastal route. It was late afternoon when we stopped off for a short while at Seaton Sluice - by then the clouds had dispersed and there were good views across to the more-industrial landscape around the Port of Blyth. On the way back, we stopped briefly near Thrunton. The extra would have been an appropriate Blip for last Friday!
