Sunshine and showers over Eday (Day 889)

I was up at stupid o'clock this morning, listening to the wind driving heavy rain against the windows as I had breakfast.
I was soon heading out on my way to work as my beautiful wife took the woofers for their morning wander. The weather was vile.
I zoomed through to town, and caught the ferry to Sanday. The weather improved on the crossing and I was lucky to catch a fabulous sky over the island of Eday as we steamed past.
Once on Sanday, I spent the day sorting out a couple of taps which weren't working and removing, flushing and re-fitting radiators. It has been a really busy, enjoyable day. I would have preferred not to have spent 3 hours on the ferry, but then I wouldn't have got the blip.
