Gluggy Mud

We have been without internet for the past 24 hours and it makes you realise how many things we do in our day to day life are internet based....especially Blip!
So finally yesterday's Blip. Ian has been feeling a bit housebound as he waits for surgery so took him and Heatherbelle, for a bit of a "roadie" yesterday. First stop was at the thermal area of Waiotapu where I always love to photograph the thick mud as it plops up and down like porridge. Lunched at the cafe at the visitors centre before spending the afternoon driving around the farming area of Waikite Valley. I was just the driver and they gave directions sending me up all sorts of roads that we have never been on. A very good day all round.
