Prickles painted .....

Charlie the painter has been back on and off over the last couple of weeks re doing the farm house windows and exterior woodwork . He did everything last year with a water based paint but it began to peel within weeks. This time he is using non water based paint , still not as good as the good old fashioned oil based with a touch of lead type , but all you can get these days !
This thistle is part of the sign at the road end , but I think I may need to re do it myself once he is away as it isn't the right colour- presume it was all he had in his shed !
