Nearly there ...

A wet morning, one the weather forecast forgot to mention !
Also a day of cattle work. A cow and calf to bring in as it was a weak calf and the cow's milk was full of blood. Fed the calf with artificial colostrum and milked out the cow and tuned her teats with antibiotics .
A 4 bike and 1 Land Rover rodeo to bring in a field of heifers for the winter. Once they were in the shed , took the lab to the vet for his booster jabs.
Down the road tonight to feed cattle. These blks are now coming through the gate for their feed. The plan is to get them used to feeding here, then swing the gate shut behind them later this week and bring them home to the shed. They are starting to grow hair and are not getting any fatter now the autumn grass is losing its feed value.
That is the plan, wether it goes to plan remains to be seen.
