Beside The 8th

The par 3 8th is a hole that I always find difficult (along with most of the other 17!) so it made a pleasant change to actually get a par 3 on it today. Managed to play pretty well all round today and got my best score in ages.

As you might be able to tell, the green is more like a desert at the moment as the green keepers are sanding them all in preparation for winter. We might need camels rather than golf trolleys before long:)

The oasis in the background is the new resting place for Beak House, as blipped last week.
