2500TH BLIPFOTO

Mischa was utterly touched when I told her how all your heartfelt comments on the sad news of her cat's death had reached me here. She asked me to thank you all thoroughly for your empathy, and I thank you all too.
It is so terribly silent in her apartment, it will take time to get used to it.
And then today my 2500th blip. A milestone. I was awake last night and started to think about what I would like to post. Several options, but none I really liked, or too complicated I think.
In the morning when I was looking around for a clue, I thought of a player's number on my back, suggesting I walk a Marathon or something like it. Piet Hein had to take the photo obviously.
I found the number (Piet Hein had designed it) really a bit too big, but after drawing another one, I could not deliver another natural running pose.
After enough trying, I decided to take the former for my image.
It was a lovely sunny day,. We had to do some preparations for our trip tomorrow. I hope to be able to post photos during the next days, but comments will be sparse I guess.

To be part of the Blipcommunity is a blessing for me. Most of the time I cheerfully look around, or plan a walk, feel aggrieved by the bad weather, sometimes I want to be more creative, technically more sophisticated, and then I feel just satisfied as everything is , as I find it.
In the evenings I look at your photos, comment, am happy with all the lovely comments I get, the stars, the hearts too.
Being part of Blipland widens my horizon, find extraordinary information on so many subjects, reading about the adventures, be these great, bad or sad, wonderful or less so, of my blipfriends, connects me with other worlds than my little one.

Again I have watched the silly pictures in the galleries, and now I have given hearts to Honeycombebeach, Carolina, Tigger101, Tommie2, and CowgirlCarol.
