Domestic goddess day

Today was domestic goddess day (or as near as it gets round here!)  And with the day grey and damp that seemed just about right.

Here are the last of the plums from M&S, oven cooked with golden caster sugar, a cinnamon stick, plus juice and large peels of zest from a mandarin.  They are slated for tonight though I have to confess to tasting.  Very good, Jamie Oliver, thank you.  Haagen Dazs salted caramel icecream to accompany.  Yum!

Sadly, this is probably the most interesting part of my day.  For the rest it doesn't get much beyond paying bills, paperwork, cleaning up.  Hmm!
