Five Bridges swan

I hadn't planned to blip a swan today, but I just couldn't resist the light on the river.  It was filtered through trees and splashed here and there, moving all the time as the wind flicked at the branches.  The sky has been - and still is as I write this - wall to wall blue.

I took this shot from one of the (yes, you've guessed it) five bridges in Five Bridges Road.  This male swan was having a wonderful time preening and biting at the water.  They are such contortionists, aren't they?

Tomorrow is meant to be glorious as well.  I might get up to see the sunrise, if I can manage it..
