Day 281 Alex's Army 10K Run

Alex's friends are running 10k races round the country to raise money in her memory. Her husband, siblings and children decided to get together and run 10k - the children ran the last 2k.

This is her sister Amy being hugged by young Pip who doesn't want to be left behind while the big ones run 8K.

In the end she let go and waved them off.  Partners, Mum and children then went indoors to feed Max and then to take the children to a local park to meet up with the runners for the final 2k. Lily was offered a matching T shirt but didn't want it, so Pip put it on - see the additional photo - and ran a (very) little way. 

Afterwards it was back to Amy's and Lee's for a relaxing lunch. A great day out.
