The French Lieutenant's Dog

The weather today was absolutely glorious and scorchio. We went to Lyme Regis fairly early and walked for a couple of hours. People were out in their shorts and sleeveless tops, and a few were actually swimming in the sea. 
This is Hector on the end of the famous Cobb. He's in roughly the same position as  Meryl Streep  in the famous scene of The French Lieutenant's Woman, when she stood at the end, looking forlornly out to sea. Unfortunately Hector wanted to look in the other direction, otherwise the scene would have been almost identical (except today there was no storm).
