Ohio Gourd Show...The Ark of Noah

The gourd show in Delaware, Ohio was interesting, not quite as good as the last one we went to (3 years ago), but still interesting. Also, somehow...the prices of the dried gourds got more expensive.

Noah's ark was my favorite piece of the show. If you look closely, (counter-clockwise from the roof on top), you can see Noah and his wife, zebras, lions, mice (on the sign), pigs, turtles (on the ramp), rabbits, beavers, elephants, giraffes, and on the roof...the dove who flew off to find dry land. We left before the judging was over, but I'd be REAL surprised if the ark didn't take home Best of Show. (All the animals are made of gourds, and even the roof is made from gourd seeds.)

In the Extras, I put a couple more gourd pictures, the Warren G. Harding (one of our presidents) Memorial in Marion, Ohio (Sefferdog's hometown), and a horse scene in Amish country.

P.S. Despite Lisa's mild protests, I left the gourd show with 35 dollars worth of gourds.
