Loch Freuchie

What a lovely day TJ has had for his birthday, so we didn't waste it.  First stop was Perth for some treats for the birthday boy and then it was on to Crieff the roundabout way, via Buchanty, Amulree and Loch Freuchie.  This is always an interesting detour, with lots of animals and birds for company, including partridge and pheasants who think they own the road (see Extras).

We ended up at Glenturret Distillery where I had booked  High Tea for us, which was delicious, as always.  Totally full up, we took the quick route home again, but still managed to miss Strictly, so I'll have to catch up later!

TJ is now enjoying a wee dram to finish off his special day:-)

The Carpenters' Story last night was excellent but so loud!!!  They really didn't need such volume, as it almost drowned out the singers' voices.
