Changes

Maybe not obvious to anyone else from these two photos taken years apart, but there's something missing from the one on the right!  That huge Christmas tree just showing on the left was cut down today by our new neighbour, along with lots of other bushes in her front garden.  

As the chap with the chainsaw was there, we asked if he could cut down one of our fir trees which has also outgrown its welcome (see extra) and he's going to give us a quote.  It's sad to lose trees from the garden, but sometimes it's necessary as they have been the wrong variety for the space available.

Managed to plant several pots of tulip bulbs this afternoon without having to turf out the spring flowers!  They are on borrowed time as there are several more packets of bulbs to plant:-)

Going out tonight to a Carpenters 'tribute concert in Dundee as part of TJ's birthday treat, so will catch up with everyone tomorrow.
