Solace Day 14

Sorry to frighten some of you yesterday with a Marmite shot!

As soon as we saw the 2 posts with a length of rebar between them fastened with baler twine yesterday we knew someone had set up a perch for a kingfisher. And we were rewarded by being able to watch the kingfisher having breakfast on the perch. No, not eating a perch, Kaybee, sitting on it! The shot isn't brilliant as it's taken through the boat window, only after it had gone did we slip the pane of glass out but it didn't bring a fish back next time.

As if this wasn't amazing enough we got shots of another when we stopped at Tixall Wide for lunch! The funny thing was that I had been so determined to blip a kingfisher today I had set up a sunrise kingfisher shot with the tiller pin! See Extra!

Fun over! Back to the marina to clean the boat down!
