Rowntree Park

A trip to York for a local Orienteering event based in Fulford. Some had run the park run on the racecourse before using the Millennium Bridge to cross the river for the event. We however decided our legs would probably only cope with one run.

This is early morning in Rowntree Park. I used to live nearby and when at Secondary school we used the open air swimming pool for galas. The pool is long gone but the park is still going strong.
